Here’s to a first annual Halloween inspired post of scary home photos–some REAL 2019 Halloween inspiration my husband and I have captured this year. These are not all in our home, but they are on our cell phones.

A possible flood scare after a recent hurricane is cause for more than a few scary thoughts.

Taking the main air return ducting out of commission to replace it with a larger, better insulated return. There’s no getting around it. This was a bit of a challenge and a little nerve wracking as we are not HVAC experts (although the superior results make you question that…). Will the new, larger one fit? Will the return box fall apart when we removed it after 33 years of use? How long will the repair take? Will the weather turn warm before the project is complete?

Yes, in fact, this is related to home related projects because this blog continues to grow and is now expanding to YouTube (Announcing the JustNeedsPaint YouTube Channel). It is very scary–both leaving the job and trying out a closer to live medium (I was an engineer who wiggled fingers in exchange for a paycheck, not a public speaker). Leaving a job is the most frightening item on this list.
